This 8-page comic adapts an intriguing ghost story from the Smithsonian’s Sidedoor podcast, featuring a volunteer researcher’s unsettling experience during night shift at the National Zoo. I managed the entire creative development process, from initial concept interpretation and storyboard planning through detailed illustration execution and final production design. My illustration and sequential storytelling skills transformed the audio narrative into a visually cohesive reading experience while preserving the original story.
